The Formula 1 car F300 Chassis 189, piloted by Michael Schumacher in 1989, was a pivotal moment in the history of Formula 1 racing. This car marked the beginning of a new era in the sport, as it was one of the first vehicles to feature a semi-automatic gearbox, which helped Schumacher achieve unparalleled speed and precision on the track.

Hi, I'm Robert Lyon. I have been creating video and photo content of some of the most competitive race cars and rare, one-of-a-kind automobiles on the planet since 2008. It all began working as the team video producer for Tequila Patron's professional race teams in the IMSA, WEC, and NHRA series. I was also the Director of Production at Motorsport Network for several years.
